We started with the annoying part.

Not with a category, or a market size, or a gap in a slide. With the bit of cleaning that everybody puts off because getting at it is more trouble than the mess.

Toolsforthejobsyourtoolsarebadat.

It's a wide line and we know it. It's wide because we don't yet know what the second product is — and we'd rather say so than pretend a roadmap exists.

What we're actually trying to do.

Make it obvious rather than clever. Sweep has one dial and two ends. If a product needs a manual to explain why you'd want it, the product is the problem, not the manual.

Say what it doesn't do. There's a section on the Sweep page that tells you to buy something cheaper if all you need is suction. We would rather lose that sale than handle that return, and we'd rather you trust the rest of the page because of it.

One product, done completely, beats eight listings and a warehouse.

Stock the parts. Every attachment and every filter is sold on its own, for as long as we make the tool. A product you can't maintain is a product with an expiry date nobody told you about.

Answer the email. One working day, from someone who can actually decide something. It's a small company — that should be an advantage to you, not an excuse from us.

Where we are

Honestly: at the beginning.

One product, no reviews yet, and a brand nobody searches for by name. We're building in the order we think is right — make the thing good, say true things about it, stand behind it — and letting the rest follow.

Based in Hyderabad. Shipping across India.

Start with Sweep.

It's the first thing we've made, and the easiest way to judge whether any of the above is true.
