The rules for buying from ottr.in. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service govern your use of ottr.in and any purchase made through it. Ottr ("we", "us") sells the Sweep range and related accessories. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the store.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete.
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including their limits. Sweep is a precision cleaning tool and is not a replacement for a full-size household vacuum cleaner. Photographs are representative; minor variation in finish or packaging is normal.
Technical specifications shown on this store are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. Where a figure is provisional pending final production testing, we say so on the page.
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed and confirmed.
Promotional pricing is valid only for the stated period or quantity. Where an offer is limited to a number of customers, that limit applies in the order in which orders are received.
Payment is taken at checkout for prepaid orders, and on delivery for cash-on-delivery orders.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if the item is out of stock, if a price or description was published in error, if the delivery address is not serviceable, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or resale in breach of these terms.
Delivery timelines, charges and cash-on-delivery availability are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Our Refund Policy and the two-year warranty described on our Warranty page form part of these terms. Both are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Sweep contains a lithium-ion battery and a high-speed motor. You agree to use it in accordance with the instructions supplied and the guidance on our Safety page. We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from use contrary to those instructions, from modification of the product, or from repair by anyone other than us or an authorised partner.
The Ottr and Sweep names and logos, and the text, photography, video and design of this store, belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission. You may share links to our pages freely.
If you send us a review, photograph, video or suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with the product. You keep ownership. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, misleading or abusive.
Retail orders are for personal use. Purchase for commercial resale requires a separate agreement with us — email [email protected]. We may limit order quantities where resale is apparent.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, natural events, strikes, and government restrictions.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to approach a consumer forum where you reside.
If something has gone wrong and normal support has not resolved it, escalate to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
