Safety

A lithium battery and a motor at 1,30,000 RPM.

The four that matter most: never aim the airflow at anyone's eyes or face · never vacuum liquids, ash or embers · never immerse it or let it get wet · stop using it immediately if the battery swells, smells, leaks or gets unusually hot.

Charging

Charge over USB-C from a standard supply. A full charge takes about two hours.
Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface — not on a bed, sofa or carpet.
Unplug once charged. Don't leave it charging unattended overnight.
Never charge a unit that is wet, hot to the touch, or has been dropped.

The battery

Do not puncture, crush, disassemble, short-circuit or incinerate the unit or its battery
Do not immerse in water or any liquid — the unit is not water resistant
Do not leave it in a parked car, in direct sun, or anywhere above roughly 45 °C

If it swells, smells, discolours, gets unusually hot or leaks — stop, move it away from anything flammable, do not charge it, and contact us straight away.

While you're using it

Do

Wear eye protection when blowing dust out of a confined space — debris comes back at you
Keep the intake grille clear; restricting airflow makes the motor run hot
Turn the speed down for delicate surfaces
Keep hair, loose clothing, jewellery, fingers and pets away from the intake while running

Don't

Direct the airflow at eyes, ears, face or skin — yours or anyone else's
Use it near open flame, or where flammable vapours, fuel, solvents or combustible dust are present
Vacuum liquids, wet debris, hot ash, embers, cigarette ends, toner, plaster or cement dust, or sharp broken glass
Treat it as a toy. It isn't one.

If it cuts out

Sweep cuts power to the motor if it runs too hot. That is intended behaviour, not a fault. Switch it off, clear the intake grille, let it cool for 15–20 minutes. If it keeps cutting out during normal use, report it.

Filter and maintenance

Empty the dust collector after each use
It's small by design. Emptying it takes five seconds and keeps airflow up.
Rinse the HEPA filter in plain water only
No detergent, no solvents, no dishwasher.
Let it dry completely — allow 24 hours
A damp filter can damage the motor. This is the single most common cause of failure.
Never run the vacuum side without a filter fitted
Wipe the housing with a dry or barely damp cloth. Never run the unit under a tap.

Children

Not intended for use by children without supervision
Keep nozzles and small attachments away from young children — choking hazard

Disposal

Sweep contains a lithium-ion battery. Do not put it in household waste. Hand it to an authorised e-waste collection point, or send it back to us and we'll dispose of it correctly at no charge.
